The BOA shall also <br />appoint a City Employee to serve as the Secretary of meeting minutes for the <br />board. <br />The Bylaws do not establish a formal manner in which to establish officers. <br />However, in the past, the officers and secretary have been elected / appointed <br />either 1) at the first regular meeting in January, or 2) at the first meeting of the <br />BOA after the effective date of appointment of new members of the BOA. <br />Board of Adjustment Action: <br />The BOA could either: <br />1) discuss and take action at this meeting or <br />2) accept nominations and letters of interest that could then be <br />considered at the next BOA meeting which is set for March 18, 2009 <br />If the BOA wishes to submit letters of interest or letters of nomination in advance <br />th <br />of the April 20 meeting, staff could include those in your packets for that <br />meeting. We would need to receive those by end of business on Tuesday, april <br />th <br />12 in order to forward in your packets. <br />п¹» î ±º íð <br />
