AMENDED AND RESTATED BYLAWS OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />ARTICLE I <br />THE BOARD <br />Section 1. Introduction. <br /> These Amended and Restated Bylaws (“Bylaws”) of the <br />Louisville Board of Adjustment are adopted pursuant to the authority stated in the <br />Louisville Municipal Code Chapter 17.48. These Bylaws replace any previous Bylaws <br />for the Board of Adjustment. <br />Section 2. Office. <br /> The office of the Board shall be considered the Louisville City <br />Hall, 749 Main Street, Louisville, CO 80027, or such other place in the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado as the City Manager may designate from time to time. <br />Section 3.Purpose and Duties <br />A. Quasi-Judicial. <br /> The Board shall have the powers and functions specified in <br />the ordinances of the City and applicable state statutes. <br />B Duties. <br /> The role of the Board will include, but not be limited to, hearing and <br />deciding requests for variances to City zoning ordinances including: <br /> Appeals of administrative zoning decisions; <br /> Floodplain maps and permits; <br /> Permitted uses. <br />ARTICLE II <br />MEMBERS <br />Section 1: Number of Board Members. <br />The Board shall consist of six (6) <br />members whom the City Council shall appoint. None of the members may be current <br />members of the Louisville Planning Commission. <br />Section 2. Associate Member. <br />A. In addition to the members of the Board, the City Council may appoint one <br />(1) associate member for a 3-year term. In the event that any regular member is <br />temporarily unable to act, the member's place may be taken during such temporary <br />disability by the alternate member who during such disability shall enjoy full voting <br />privileges. <br />B. Any matter brought before the Board may be discussed by all the regular <br />and associate members present. <br />C.
