He also recommended a symbol should be included on <br />the top of each plaque which represents historical Louisville. <br />Fasick recommended the miner. <br />The HPC thought that was a great idea. <br />Stewart recommended an HPC logo should be brought back and maybe a plaque <br />sample. <br />Leary recommended placement and shape should be uniform. He added the plaque <br />should cost somewhere in the $300 range. <br />Update/Discussion/Action – Commercial Incentives <br />McCartney presented the attached memo and mentioned the upcoming Business <br />Retention and Development (BRaD) meeting on May 2, 2011. <br />Leary asked if there was a mechanism for feedback. <br />Koertje answered in the affirmative. <br />Update/Discussion/Action – Preservation Awards <br />McCartney presented the attached memo and presented what the awards would look <br />like. <br />Fasick mentioned there is going to be a Heritage Roundtable at Chautauqua on <br />th <br />Monday, May 9. She recommendedwe invite the previous residential landmark <br />recipients. <br />McCartney stated he would send out an invite to the recipients. <br />Koertje recommended the awards should also be placed on a City Council meeting in <br />May. <br />Update/Discussion/Action – 2011 Work Plan <br />The HPC discussed the work plan to determine what elements could be achieved in <br />2011. <br />Stewart recommended bringing reconnaissance survey to the top of the list. <br />Koertje recommended the HPC should discuss surveys at the next meeting. <br />Committee Reports - none <br />Update on Demolition Requests – Door replacement for Jacoe Store and Austin- <br />Niehoff House <br />
