<br />RESOLUTION NO. 18 <br />SERIES 2004 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE FOR THREE <br />ANNEXATION PETITIONS FILED WITH THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO, KNOWN AS THE :PICKETT ANNEXATION, AND SETTING <br />A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, three petitions for annexation of certain property, to be known as the Pickett <br />Annexation to the City of Louisville, has been filed with the City Council of the City of Louisville; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the annexation petitions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to permit simultaneous consideration of the subject <br />property for annexation and for zoning, if requested in the petitions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the annexation petitions and desires to adopt by <br />this Resolution its findings in regard the petitions. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. The petitions, the overall legal description for which are attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A, are in substantial compliance with the applicable laws of the State of Colorado. <br /> <br />Section 2. No election is required under S31-12-1 07(2), C.RS. <br /> <br />Section 3. No additional terms ,md conditions are to be imposed except any provided <br />for in the petitions. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of determining if <br />the proposed annexation complies with S31-12-104, C.RS. and with S31-12-105, C.RS., at the <br />Louisville City Hall, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado 80027, at the following date and time: <br /> <br />April 20, 2004 <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Section 5. Any person may app~:ar at such hearing and present evidence relative to the <br />proposed annexation. <br /> <br />Section 6. Upon completion of the hearing, the City Council will set forth by resolution <br />its findings and conclusions with reference to the eligibility of the proposed annexation, and <br />whether the statutory requirements for the proposed annexation have been met. <br /> <br />1 <br />
