Revitalization Commission <br />Agenda <br />March 21, 2011 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Dave will be presenting at HPC this evening regarding one building on <br />site that was once used by Louisville Rod and Gun Club. They expect to <br />work with HPC to get resolution on the issue as they work with staff and <br />HPC. LRC encouraged that RMSC to work with staff as the station area <br />process moves forward. RMSC would like to move forward with their <br />PUD that can work incrementally given the RTD process. Their project is <br />called “DELO”. <br />B. Update on Arnold redevelopment (Bonnie): Bonnie announced that the <br />Arnold’s and city have put in a permit application to relocate Cannon <br />Street about 150’ south. This is currently being reviewed by CDOT. <br />Walgreens is currently talking internally about their relocation. The <br />property will have commercial near South Boulder Road and Highway 42. <br />There will be residential on the south side of the property. Bonnie has <br />involved Union Jack and Louisville Bicycle in discussion with the Arnolds. <br />Both desire to be involved in the future development. <br />C. LRC Work Plan: Bonnie provided an overview of the proposed work. <br />LRC has asked to take the “steps” out of the process in the action plan <br />and to remove 3B. Michael suggests that the design guidelines be <br />amended that would follow the recommendations in the EPS study that <br />recommend the removal of the requirement. Rob suggests that further <br />discussion on changes to the Highway 42 Master Plan as part of the <br />LRC’s action plan be discussed with Troy present at the April meeting. <br />Item “D” will be revised to include gateway consideration and actions. An <br />item will be added to include Chamber of Commerce and DBA in parking <br />and pedestrian plan actions. <br />D. Underpass Design progress report/discussion: Gavin provides an <br />overview of the potential study details for the “Next Steps” study. Staff <br />will be preparing the RFP for a consultant in the upcoming weeks. The <br />funds will be available in the fall of 2011. Emily suggested that the <br />previous drawings that were prepared for the underpass are included in <br />the RFP. Mayor has asked that a member of the LRC be present and <br />part of the selection committee. LRC will discuss the issues of the RFP <br />next month. <br />IX. Development Referrals – LuLu’s, 701 Main: They are working on the new <br />restaurant and they plan to open in May. The building on the southeast <br />corner of Pine and Main there is a deposit for a new tenant that will open a <br />deli. <br />X. Commissioners’ Comments: LRC commissioners had discussion based on <br />the letter to the editor in the Daily Camera on Sunday, March 20th, 2011. <br />XI.
