City Council Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 01/18/2011 Page 2 of 2 The Tax Manager presented the December 31, 2010 Sales Tax Reports which included all quarterly reporting. The reports and the corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the February 14, 2011 Finance Committee Meeting. DISCUSSION ON FUTURE REPORTING OF BUILDING ACTIVITY The Finance Director presented a couple of report options provided by the Building Department for their review. The Committee indicated that it was currently receiving the reports provided as part of the City Manager update, and requested reporting that could a forecasted amount of building use tax anticipated compared to budget. The Finance Director indicated that he would develop a report and present it to the Finance Committee at a future meeting. CASH & INVESTMENTS REPORT AS OF JANUARY 31, 2011 The Finance Director presented the Schedule of Cash & Investments as of January 31, 2011. The schedule and corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the February 14, 2011 Finance Committee Meeting. LIST OF BILLS The Committee reviewed the List of Bills scheduled for approval at the February 15, 2011 Council Meeting. The list can be located in the packet of the February 15, 2011 Finance Committee Meeting. DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING & MEETING SCHEDULE There will not be a March meeting of the Finance Committee The next meeting is set for Monday, April 18, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in the City Manager’s Office. Discussion items currently scheduled for that meeting are: Financial Statements for the Period Ended March 31, 2011 Sales Tax Reports for the Period Ended February 28, 2011. Cash and Investment Report as of March 31, 2011. ADJOURN The meeting was adjourned at 4:50 p.m.
