City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> May 17, 2011 <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br /> Deputy City Manager Balser announced Colorado Department of Transportation <br /> Commissioner Heather Berry will conduct a transportation meeting on Monday, May 23, <br /> 2011 at the Superior Town Hall from 7:30 8:30 am. <br /> Planning Director Russ announced a Washington /McCaslin Pedestrian Crossing <br /> meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 25 at City Hall at 6:30 pm. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> PRESENTATION RECOGNITION OF DON ROSS <br /> The City Council and City Staff recognized Don Ross for his years of service to the City <br /> of Louisville. Don recently retired as a member of the Historical Commission and over <br /> the years has served in many capacities for the City of Louisville including on the City <br /> Council, Board of Adjustment, Parks and Recreation Board, and Recycling Board. <br /> Mr. Ross thanked the City, present and past Mayors and City Councils for the honor of <br /> serving the City for twenty -two years. <br /> PRESENTATION HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION 2011 <br /> PRESERVATION AWARDS <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> Planning Director Russ explained the Historic Preservation Commission gives awards of <br /> merit each year. For 2011, the HPC recognized six (6) properties in Old Town which <br /> were recently granted landmark status. Commission Chairperson Peter <br /> Stewart reported the Month of May is Preservation Month. He presented the following <br /> preservation awards: <br /> 2010 Residential Landmark Julie Parmenter and Peter Wise <br /> Adkins House 816 McKinley Avenue built circa 1910 <br /> 2010 Residential Landmark Ann Marie Spear <br /> Fabrizio House 557 Jefferson Avenue built circa 1954 <br /> 2010 Residential Landmark Robert Dressler <br /> Ball House 1117 Jefferson Avenue built circa 1909 <br /> 2010 Residential Landmark Janice Hoffman <br /> Jacoe Conarroe House 1131 Jefferson Avenue built circa 1932 <br /> 2010 Residential Landmark Scott Eichorn <br />
