<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 750 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2 OF THE <br /> LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING <br /> THE VOTING RIGHTS OF THE MAYOR. <br /> WHEREAS, the Colorado State Legislature has amended the <br /> State Statutes concerning the voting rights of Mayors; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the Mayor <br /> should have voting rights as set forth under these statutes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. Section 2.08.020 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> Code is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2. The following section is added to Chapter <br /> 2.08, Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 2.08.020 Presiding Officer of City Council and Voting Rights <br /> The Mayor shall be the presiding officer of the City <br /> Council and shall have the same voting powers as any members of the <br /> City Council. The Mayor shall be considered a member of the govern- <br /> ing body and the City Council. <br /> Section 3.
