In the event that a tap is not put in service by the <br />owner within a year from the purchase date thereof, the City shall <br />require the payment of an amount equal to any increase or increases <br />in the tap fees which have occurred since the purchase of said tap. <br /> <br />Section 3. Section 13.24.020 and Section 13.24.030 of <br /> <br />Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 4. The following sections are hereby added to <br /> <br />Chapter 13.24 of Title 13 of t:he Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />13.24.020 Tap Fee Generally <br /> <br />Upon payment of the tap fee, the owner remains responsible <br /> <br />for all labor and excavation in connection with the installation of <br /> <br />the sewer tap. The City shall do all necessary inspection, and the <br /> <br />director of public works shall cause the inspection to be made to <br /> <br />determine that all of the work performed is in accordance with the <br /> <br />National Plumbing Code. <br /> <br />13.24.030 Tap Fee <br /> <br />A. The tap fee for residential uses shall be computed as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Single family dwellings, one thousand five hundred <br />dollars per unit; <br />2. Multiple family dwellings, one thousand five hundred <br />dollars for the first tap purchased; seven hundred <br />fifty dollars for each subsequent tap purchased for <br />a single project. <br />3. Mobile home park, one thousand five hundred dollars <br />per unit. <br /> <br />B.
