The Planning Commission <br />shall hold a pub ic hearing after giving notice as set forth in Section <br />16.04.030, conce ning said minor subdivision and may give approval of <br />a final plat at Notice by mail shall only be required to <br />be made to real roperty owners located within 300 feet of the property <br />line of the prop sed subdivision. The requirement of filing a prelim- <br />inary plat and h a public hearing thereon is waived under this <br />process. The Pl Commission after holding a public hearing shall <br />approve, approve said final plat with modifications and <br />submit the plat ogether with the Commissions recommendations to the <br />City Council. <br /> 5. Section 17.44.030 (B) should be repealed. The following <br />Section l7.44.030 (B) should be added: <br /> 17.44.030 (B) <br /> For pr posed amendments to the zoning district map, a <br />written notice of said hearing shall be sent by first class mail, <br />at least fifteen days prior to the hearing date, to property owners <br />within five hundred feet of the area in question, as such ownership is <br />available in the City Clerk's office. In addition, a notice declaring <br />that rezoning is eing applied for shall be posted, at least fifteen <br />days prior to the hearing on the property proposed for rezoning, along <br />the part of such property fronting on a street. <br /> -2- <br />
