<br />MEETING MINUTES OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. <br />Lydia Morgan Apartments <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Jay Keany, Terri Abbott, Scott McKenzie, Callan Childs <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: Doris Fasbender <br /> <br />Staff Present: Frank Alexander, Executive Director; Dorene Honeycutt, Administrative <br />Division Manager; Lisa Bangs, Accountant <br /> <br />Others Present: Sheri Marsella, City Council Liaison; Paul Woods, City of Louisville Planning <br />Director; Sean McCartney, City of Louisville Principal Planner; Heather Balser, City of <br />Louisville; Rick Myers, Developer; Steve Anderson, LHC Board Member; Pat Lytle from <br />Hiratsuka and Schmitt Auditors <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 8:05 a.m. by Jay Keany, Chair. <br /> <br />Minutes approved and passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Agenda for February 2th meeting passed and approved. <br /> <br />Matter from Members of the Public: None. <br /> <br />Directors Report: Frank Alexander <br /> <br />Recycling: Frank presented costs for Recycling and indicated that we had recycling in the past <br />at our sites, but it was unsuccessful because it became a trash receptacle. The board wanted to <br />know whether there been educational efforts at the sites? Yes, we have provided tenants with <br />notices, pamphlets, etc. Staff believe that with more resident participation at sites (have <br />someone who can monitor this effort). Senior sites could be an effective place to start this effort. <br />Callan will call Eco-cycle about what they can do to get this under way. Callan will check with <br />Recycling areas about grants. <br /> <br />Staff was requested to place resident caretakers on agenda for future meeting. <br /> <br />Re2al Square Analvsis of Loan pavoff vs. C-safe reserve deposit continuation <br /> <br />The reserve fund cannot be used at other sites. In the analysis, it shows that the first two years <br />are a wash; if you capitalize interest it grows. Assumption is we don't touch that money for <br />
