Members were in agreement
that it is a good idea, but are not sure how to proceed. A "Why Preserve" pamphlet was
recommended and will be discussed at the March building.

Mine Marker Request, Hecla #1 (Behind King Soopers)
Through the museum Muth received a request from Cliff Foster who would like to place
a marker to the Hecla Mine on his property. Muth noted that Mr. Foster is willing to pay
for the marker himself, but the Commission will need to determine guidelines. As we
would like to do additio I markers in the future, the guidelines for this initial one would
be setting the look fo future ones.

Koertje will bring to the M ch meeting examples of historic plaques he has seen in other
communities to get the discussion started.

ation Zoning Incentives Update
. ed that the proposed incentives should be sent to the City Attorney this
ay write a new ordinance. Staff hopes to take it to the Planning
ion for review in either March or April.

Demolition Requests - None

Items from Staff
.
