<br />City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />March 13, 2007 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />Becky Hogan, EDge Consulting Services <br />Business Retention Training <br />Hogan presented City Council and Business Retention & Development Committee <br />(BRaD) members the plans for business retention visits. She described how a visit would <br />go, what kinds of questions to ask, how to report the visit, and a list of do's and don'ts for <br />a visit. She noted that the goal of the visits is to get a feel for the business community in <br />Louisville and to understand how the City can create a business friendly climate. <br /> <br />Hogan noted that the plan is for each Council and BRaD member to complete two visits <br />from April to September. Each visit will have two people in some combination of Council, <br />BRaD, and staff. <br /> <br />Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation Code of Ethics <br />Hogan reviewed the Code of Ethics and noted that if the City Council was interested in <br />becoming a signatory it could be placed on a regular meeting agenda for action. <br />Members were in agreement that it should be placed on a regular meeting agenda. <br /> <br />City Manager's Report <br /> <br />Balser briefly went over the following items: <br />. Anticipated agenda for the March 20 meeting <br />. Resource Conservation Advisory Board discussions of Green Building Points <br />. Land Management work schedules <br />.
