My special expertise is Business-To-Business
(B2B) marketing communicatiiOns. I was a partner in BSM&R Integrated
Marketing Communications, one of the top 25 B2B agencies in the country, a
president and board member iOf the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing
Association (BMA), and a 10n~Herm member of the national board of directors of
BMA.
A nineteen-year resident of Louisville, I believe maximizing the opportunity
presented by the new commuter rail service coming to our city is vital to the
future of our community. I own no property in the Urban Renewal District, nor
have any business interests in the area. In other words, I don't "have a dog in
that fight". My only concern is what is best for Louisville.
Like many others, I started with grave concerns about the Urban Renewal Plan
and the Louisville Revitalization Commission. However, after attending LRC
meetings, community informational meetings, and traveling every block of the
Urban Renewal District and reading every document posted on the City's
website, I changed my mind. You know my views from my comments at several
City Council Meetings on this subject.
I believe that my expertise in communications strategy and message
development could benefit the LRC and our community. Not only will we need to
persuasively communicate to our citizens, but also to developers, the RTD, state
