Board Update <br />Tom volunteered at the Fishing Frenzy. He said it was well <br />organized, and there was a lot of positive feedback. <br />Tom has noticed increased awareness about coyotes because of <br />the "Coyote sandwich boards" with educational pamphlets <br />attached. <br />cThe Goodhue Ditch has been lined near Pine St. <br />VIII. Discussion Item: CTC Trail Alignment <br />1. Trail was initiated by BRAD as a way to increase traffic to the downtown <br />area. CTC has a special district, and they have expressed an interest in <br />contributing to the cost of the trail building. <br />2. From Joe's perspective, there is funding and support for Option 1. <br />3. OSAB has decided not to make a recommendation tonight and wait for <br />more OSAB members' input. It will be put on the agenda for next month. <br />IX. Discussion Item: OSAB Goals and Action Items <br />a) Lafayette could not get a quorum. They will keep looking for a <br />potential future date for a joint meeting. <br />1. Superior is hoping for an August joint meeting. That will <br />be confirmed at a later date. <br />b) Education and Community Outreach: <br />1. We will need to determine if Fishing Frenzy should <br />continue. We will need volunteers to help develop <br />and lead educational stations. <br />2. If we are going to do the Dehaunting program in the <br />fall, then we need to start planning and developing the <br />educational stations now. Volunteers will be needed <br />to help run the educational stations, decorate, lead <br />the groups, run the craft station etc. <br />3. Facebook page has expanded its membership <br />substantially. It is showing potential as a mechanism <br />for public communication. <br />ii. Street Faire — Open Space Booth <br />1. OSAB needs to set up a schedule of who will man the <br />booth. <br />2. Taste of Louisville — June 4. Ember will ask if there is <br />booth availability. <br />iii. GIS Treasure Hunt <br />1. Developing model questions/tasks, researching how <br />to construct geo-caches project. This will be <br />developed for Davidson Mesa as well as for Harper <br />Lake and Aquarius, <br />
