<br /> . - <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1R <br /> Series 1980 <br /> A resolution recognizing the Louisville Development Corporation <br /> as an agency for the revitalization of downtown Louisville. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, in the county of Boulder, <br /> State of Colorado, has stated its desire to have an economic and <br /> physical revitalization of its downtown area; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan of the City states the downtown <br /> area of Louisville should be strengthened as a retailing center <br /> in the Louisville area by improvement of its appearance, character <br /> and convienience; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City has pursued said revitalization by working <br /> closely with the merchants and citizens of Louisville for the <br /> formation of an organization with such an intent; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the merchants and citizens of Louisville have <br /> caused the Louisville Development Corporation to be incorporated <br /> in the State of Colorado as a non-profit organization for the economic <br /> and physical revitalization of Louisville and have become members and <br /> officers thereof; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said members and officers of the Louisville Development <br /> Corporation have asked the City to recognize this organization as <br /> an agent of said revitalization for the purpose of furthering that <br /> goa 1 . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> City of Louisville, Colorado: <br /> Section 1. The City does hereby grant special recognition <br /> to the Louisville Development Corporation as an agency for <br /> revitalization in Louisville, Colorado. <br /> Section 2. The City shall continue to cooperate and aid the <br /> Louisville Development Corporation in the economic <br /> and physical revitalization of Louisville. <br /> Section 3.
