<br /> . u. <br /> ~ <br /> OlWINANCE NO. 648 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2 OF THE <br /> LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING <br /> TO THE REGULATION OF CEMETERIES. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville currently has rules and <br /> regulations relating to the operation of cemeteries; and <br /> WHEREAS, these rules and regulations need to be updated <br /> and amended from time to time; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. Subsection (A), Section 2.76.010, Chapters <br /> 2.76, Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2. The following subsection (A) is hereby added <br /> to Chapter 2.76, Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> A. The City Council shall adopt rules and <br /> regulations not inconsistent with the provisions <br /> of this chapter governing cemeteries within the <br /> City. Sections 2.76.100 through 2.76.200 of this <br /> chapter shall apply to all cemeteries within the <br /> City. <br /> Section 3. The following section is hereby added to <br /> Chapter 2.7C, Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 2.76.200 Registration and Permits. <br /> Any cemetery or portion thereof located within the City <br /> that is owned or managed by any group, organization, corporation or <br /> individual must have at least two agents or representatives register <br /> with the City Clerk. These agents or representatives shall be <br /> responsible for the following: <br /> 1. The obtaining of a proper burial permit and the <br /> payment of the permit fee prior to interment. The permit fee <br /> shall be set forth in the rules and regulations governing cemeteries <br /> within the City. <br />
