ORDINA:t\CE NO. 659 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCREASE THE BUILDING PERMIT FEES AS CHARGED BY THE CITY PURSUANT TO THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE AND TO INCREASE THE MINIMUM VALUATION WHICH REQUIRES A BUILDING PERMIT FEE. WHEREAS, the City Building Inspector has recommended that the Louisville Municipal Code be amended to increase the building permit fees to more accurately reflect the rising administrative costs of the building department; and WHEREAS, the City Building Inspector has further recoITunended that the minimum valuation requiring that a building permit fee to be paid be raised to Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. That sections 15.04.030 and 15.04.040 of Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. Section 2. That the following sections are hereby added to Chapter 15.04, Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code: 15.04.030 Section 303(a) amended Building Permit Fees Section 303(a) of the Uniform Building Code, 1976 Edition, "Table No. 3-A Building Permit Fees", shall read as follows: TABLE NO. 3-A - BUILDING PERMIT FEES '.Fot2tTValuation :Fee _"__.r_ $1.00 to $500.00 :~one $50l.00 to $2,000.00 $10.00 for the first $500.00 plus ~1.50 for each additional $100.00 or fraction thereof, to and including $2,000.00. $2,001.00 to $25,000.00 $32.50 for the first $2,000.00 plus $6.00 for each additional ~1,OOO.OO or fraction thereof, to andi_Tlcluding $25,000.00. $25,001.00 to $50,000.00 $170.50 for the first $25,000.00 plus $4.50 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000.00. $50,001.00 to $100,000.00 $283.00 for the first $50,000.00 plus $3.00 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof, to and including $IOO,OOO.OO.
