OL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 694 <br /> AN ORDINANCE DELEGATING TO THE CHIEF <br /> OF POLICE OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, THE <br /> AUTHORITY ~~O ISSUE PERMITS FOR THE <br /> CARRYING OF CONCEALED WEAPONS. <br /> WHEREAS, the Chief of Police of the City of Louisville <br />has received a number of requests for the issuance of permits for <br />the carrying of concealed weapons; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council upon the recommendation of the <br />Chief of Police, hereby determines that a specific procedure and set <br />of rules needs to be adopted relative to the issuance of a permit <br />for the carrying of concealed weapons. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section I. The following sections are hereby added to <br />Chapter 9.82 of Title 9 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 9.82.020 Concealed Firearm Permit <br /> The Chief of Police of Louisville, Colorado, will have the <br />authority to issue concealed firearm permits to the following persons: <br /> (a) Louisville, Colorado, Police Officers; <br /> (b) Louisville, Colorado, Reserve Police Officers. <br /> 9.82.030 Expiration of Permits <br /> All concealed firearm permits issued hereunder shall expire <br />as follows: <br /> (al Louisville Police and Reserve Police Officers <br /> upon said officer no longer being a member of the <br /> Louisville Pol:Lce Department or the Louisville <br /> Reserve Police.. <br /> 9.82.040 Revocation of Permits <br /> The Chief of Police shall.. have the authority to immediately <br />revoke any concealed firearm permits upon the finding that a person <br />no longer meets all conditions and requirements as set forth in <br />Section 9.28.020 <br /> 9.82.050 Surrender of Permits <br /> Upon revocation of a concealed firearm permit, the person <br />possessing such a permit shall immediately upon receipt of written <br />notice of the revocation from the Chief of Police, surrender such <br />
