. II ) .. -'>;' " //// ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION lO.04.050 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, REDUCING THE SPEED LIMIT ON SOUTH BOULDER ROAD FROM VIA APPIA TO HIGHWAY 42 to 30 M.P.H. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville has determined that the speed limit on South Boulder Road should be reduced to better control vehicle and pedestrian traffic. NOW, THEREFORE " BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section I. Section 10.04.050 of Chapter 10.04 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. Section 2. The following section is hereby added to Chapter 10.04 of the Louisville Municipal Code: 10.04.050 Sections Included in Article XXVI The following sections are to be included in Article XXVI of the Model Traffic Code: "Sections 26-2 and 26-3. DECREASED AND INCREASED SPEED LIMITS. In accordance with the provisions of sections 4-2 and 4-3 of the Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities and when official signs are erected giving notice thereof, the speed limit shall be as specified for the following intersections or approaches thereto and upon the following streets or portions thereof: Name of Street Portion Affected Speed or Intersection (Terminal Limits) Limit County Road Elm Street to City limits 25 m.p.h. Main Street parkview to South Boulder Road 25 m.p.h. Roosevelt/Bella Vista Drive Elm Street to City limits 25 m.p.h. pine Street Highway 42 to Front Street 25 m.p.h. Griffith Street Highway 42 to Main Street 25 m.p.h. South Boulder Road Highway 42 to Main Street 30 m.p.h. South Boulder Road Main Street to Via Appia 30 m.p.h.
