,., 2.08.,030 Salary The Mayor shall receive as full compensation for his services, a salary of t1Nenty'-four hundred dollars ($2,400.00) per year, payable in monthly payments. Section 3. Thl9 following sections are hereby added to Chapter 2.l2 of Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code: 2.12.050 Standing Committees At the first regular meeting of each new City Council, the Mayor shall appoint the standing committees which he deems necessary. 2.12.070 Salary Each councilman of the City shall receive as full compen- sation for his services -the sum of twelve hundred dollars ($1,200.00) per year, payable in monthly payments. Section 4. ThE~ following sections are hereby added to Chapter 2.16 of Title 2 of the Louisville Munncipal Code: 2.16.020 Appointment The City Administrator shall be appointed by City Council and shall serve at the pleasure of City Council. He selected solely on the basis of his executive and adm'nistrative qualifications, with special preference given to his raining and his experience. He shall be compensated for his serv as the Council from time to timE~ determines. At the time of his appoint- ment, he need not be a rE~sident of the City or State, but he shall move to the City within ninety days of his appointmen and shall continue to reside in the City during his term of off'ce.
