PARKS ..:AND :TRAILS <br />The Parks and Trails Impact Fees include components for park improvements and trails. The <br />incremental expansion methodology is used for both components. This methodology documents the <br />current levels -of- service (LOS) for each component being provided to existing residential development. <br />This methodology will allow the City to provide new development the same LOS being provided to <br />existing development. <br />Figure 3 illustrates the formula used to derive the Parks and Trails Impact Fee. Note this fee is assessed <br />on residential development only. <br />Figure 3: Parks Impact Fee Methodology Chart <br />Pares and T a <br />pact Fee <br />PARK IMPROVEMENTS <br />The City's parks facilities include a variety of improvements including baseball /softball fields, athletic <br />courts, picnic shelters, restrooms, playgrounds, and soccer /football fields. <br />LOS Analysis <br />The City currently has 87 acres of improved parks serving the current population of 18,376 persons.
