<br />City Council Business Retention & Development Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 5, 2007 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />Members were in agreement that a business congress would be a great way to gather <br />information about the overall business atmosphere in town, but asked if perhaps this <br />was a role that the Chamber and DBA could play. <br /> <br />Members determined that it would be appropriate to contact the members of the <br />business congress and thank them for their time, tell them that we have decided to <br />sunset the program, and explain what they accomplished in their short time. In addition, <br />information will be given to all former congress members about how to stay involved in <br />the activities of BRaD. <br /> <br />BRaD will look to the Chamber and the DBA to use them for feedback from the business <br />community. If the Committee determines that this is not working we c valuate as <br />needed. <br /> <br /> <br />WEBSITE UPDATE AND COST PROP <br />Hogan reported that we are still having issues with ccintelle <br />to the City's server, but we hope to have those cleared up s <br /> <br />Keany noted that he felt the proposed costs for searc <br />rather high.
