City Council Business Retention & Development Committee Meeting Minutes March 5, 2007 Page 3 of 3 Members were in agreement that a business congress would be a great way to gather information about the overall business atmosphere in town, but asked if perhaps this was a role that the Chamber and DBA could play. Members determined that it would be appropriate to contact the members of the business congress and thank them for their time, tell them that we have decided to sunset the program, and explain what they accomplished in their short time. In addition, information will be given to all former congress members about how to stay involved in the activities of BRaD. BRaD will look to the Chamber and the DBA to use them for feedback from the business community. If the Committee determines that this is not working we c valuate as needed.
