RESOLUTION NO. 04 <br />SERIES 2011 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATIONGRANT <br />AND ALTERATION CERTIFICATEFOR THE ROSS-ZARINIHOUSE,A LOCAL <br />HISTORIC LANDMARK,LOCATED AT 501 SOUTHSTREET. <br />WHEREAS, <br />there has been submitted to the Historic Preservation Commissiona <br />Preservation and Restoration Grantand Alteration Certificationfor theRoss-Zarini <br />House, located at 501 South Street, on property legally described as Lots 23-24, Block <br />3,Capitol HillAddition,City of Louisville, State of Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission <br />have reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Section3.20.605.D <br />of the Louisville Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Louisville Historic PreservationCommission has held a properly <br />noticed public hearing on the proposed Preservation and Restoration grantand Alteration <br />Certificateapplication and has recommended the request be forwarded to the City of <br />Louisville City Council with a recommendation of approval; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Historic Preservation Commission finds these proposed <br />improvements will assist in the preservation of the Ross-ZariniHouse, a local historic <br />landmark. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSIONOF THECITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />1.The proposed Preservation and Restoration Grantapplication for the <br />$11,042 <br />Ross-ZariniHouse, in the amount of is hereby approved, which <br />$1,840 <br />includes a 20% contingency amount of . <br />2.The 20% contingency($1,840)shall not beused unless approved by City <br />staff following a site inspection. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED <br />this ______ day of _____________, 2011. <br />______________________________ <br />Peter Stewart, Chairperson <br />1 <br />
