April minutes <br />approved as corrected, with minor correctionsmade to the section on the Treasurer’s <br />Report.Jennifer Strand will provide the corrected April minutes to Bridget Bacon. <br />B.Report from the Director of Library and Museum Services: <br />BethBarrettis absent, but <br />we can now record in these minutes that the books chosenfortheOn the Same Page <br />community book reading programareThe Worst Hard Time andMoon Over Manifest. <br />C.Museum Coordinator’s Report:Bridget Bacon <br />1.Approval of Deeds of Gifts from donors. <br />After discussion it was moved, <br />seconded and carried to accept the following items: <br />a.From Felicity Brown:Josephine Guenzi’s hemstitch machine and a photo <br />of Josephine Guenzi. <br />b.From Pat Seader: a Louisville High School graduation photo of her <br />mother, MarionTesone, from 1929 and a St.Louis School program from <br />1922. <br />c.From Dino De Santis: Louisville Times newspaper from 1960. <br />d.From Ray Smith: items from Ed Smith’s Louisville Grocery Store carrying <br />the brand name “Solitaire” which was sold at the store, including a <br />canning booklet and cookbook called “High Altitude Recipes” and tagged <br />“Tested in the Solitaire Kitchens.” Also, a program from the Women of <br />Woodcraft lodge dated 1933. <br />e.From Pamela Modisette: documents from the 1980s relating to ditch <br />companies in this area. <br />f.From Rhonda Leggett,who is a descendant of Louisville law enforcement <br />officer Al McDonald: two metal badges from Al McDonald that say <br />“Special Police” and “Deputy Sheriff/Police.” Also, a frame for possible <br />use by the Museum that will not be accessioned as a historical item. <br />City of Louisville <br />Louisville Historical Museum <br />749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303-665-9048(phone) 303-335-4550 (fax) www.louisvilleco.gov <br /> <br />
