Three <br />training sessions were held during the year. A total of 112 sellers and servers from <br />licensed establishments attended the training sessions with 88 from Louisville <br />businesses. The Police Department also provided special training for the Street Faire <br />servers. <br />The Authority approved two new Hotel and Restaurant Licenses in 2010. They <br />approved the transfer of five Hotel and Restaurant Liquor licenses. In addition, sixteen <br />Special Events Permits were issued to six non - profit organizations. The Authority <br />continues to consider other changes to licenses as they occur. Of note this year, were <br />not only the raised street patios downtown, but the addition of alcohol service at <br />sidewalk tables for the establishments going through the application and approval <br />process with the Authority. <br />The breakdown for the 54 liquor licenses held in the City of Louisville is as <br />follows: <br />
