ORDINANCE NO. 1441 SERIES 2004 AN ORDINANCE ZONING PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AND KNOWN AS THE S. 96TH STREET ANNEXATION NO.1 WHEREAS, a petition for annexation of certain property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof, and known as the S. 96th Street Annexation No.1, was filed with the City Council of the City of Louisville; and WHEREAS, said property was annexed to the City by ordinance; and WHEREAS, the City Council must provide for the zoning of said property; and WHEREAS, the City Council provided notice of the public hearing on said zoning by publication as provided by law; and WHEREAS, no protests were received by the City pursuant to C.R.S. g31-23-305; and WHEREAS, an Agricultural (A) zoning classification has been proposed for the property, in accordance with Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the property consists of a parcel ofland of approximately 12.6 acres acquired for right-of-way purposes; and WHEREAS, an Agricultural zoning classification is consistent with the City's plan for the area and with the uses for which the parcels constituting the property were acquired; and WHEREAS, the Louisville Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the zoning request and has forwarded its recommendation to the City Council, and the City Council has duly considered that recommendation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. That certain property known as the S. 96th Street Annexation No.1, the legal description of which is set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby zoned Agricultural (A), and the City zoning map shall be amended accordingly.
