<br />UNIFORM SWIMMING POOL, SPA AND HOT TUB CODE <br /> <br />15.44.010 Adoption. <br /> <br />The Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code, <br />1997 Edition, published by the International Association <br />of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, 20001 Walnut Drive <br />South, Walnut, California, 91879, is hereby adopted by <br />reference thereto and incorporated into and made a part <br />of the Louisville Municipal Code. The purpose and <br />subject matter of the Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot <br />Tub Code include provisions for the erection, <br />installation, alteration, addition, repair, relocation, <br />replacement, maintenance, or use of any swimming pool, <br />spa, or hot tub plumbing system, for the purpose of <br />protecting the public health, safety and general welfare. <br />Except as otherwise provided herein, the Uniform Swimming <br />Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code, 1997 Edition, is adopted in <br />full, including the outline of contents and index <br />contained therein. Any reference to the Uniform Swimming <br />Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code within this chapter shall be <br />to the 1997 Edition of said code. <br /> <br />15.44.020 Copies available. <br /> <br />At least one copy of the Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa <br />and Hot Tub Code, certified to be true and accurate, <br />shall be available for public inspection between the <br />hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, <br />holidays excepted, at the office of the building safety <br />division. The city clerk shall at all times maintain a <br />reasonable supply of copies of the code available for <br />purchase by the public at a moderate price. <br /> <br />15.44.030 Violation and penalties. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or <br />corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, <br />move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, <br />occupy or maintain any building or structure or cause or <br />permi t the same to be dOnE! in violation of the provisions <br />of this chapter or the terms of the code adopted and <br />incorporated herein. Any person convicted of a violation <br />of any provision of this chapter or of the provisions of <br />the code adopted and incorporated herein shall be subject <br />to the penalty provided in Section 1.28.010. <br /> <br />Section 21. Any person who violates any provision of this <br />Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by <br />imprisonment not to exceed 1 year or both such fine and <br />imprisonment.
