15.04.010 Adoption. The Uniform Building Code, 1997 Edition, Volumes One, Two and Three, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, 5360 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California, 90601, is hereby adopted by reference thereto and incorporated into and made a part of the Louisville Municipal Code. The purpose and subject matter of the Uniform Building Code include regulating construction aspects of building through comprehensive provisions and standards regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, equipping, use, height J' area, and maintenance of buildings and structures and providing greater safety to the public by uniformity in building laws. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Uniform Building Code is adopted in full, including the outline of contents, index, and appendices contained therein. Any reference to the Uniform Building Code within this chapter shall be to the 1997 Edition of said Code. Section 2. Section 15.04.020 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows (numbers to be deleted are stricken through; numbers to be added are underlined) : 15.04.020 Amendments. The amendments set forth in Sections 15.04. 025'3iT through 15.04.100 are made to the Uniform Building Code. Section 3. Chapter 15.04 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended by the adoption of a new Section 15.04.025 to read as follows: 15.04.025 Appendices adopted. The following appendices of the Uniform Building Code are hereby specifically adopted; any appendices not listed are not adopted: Appendix Chapter 3, Division II, Agricultural Buildings; Appendix Chapter 3, Division IV, Requirements for Group R, Division 4 Occupancies; Appendix Chapter 11, Division I, Site Accessibility; Appendix Chapter 12, Division I, Ventilation; Appendix Chapter 12 , Division II, Sound Transmission Control; Appendix Chapter 13, Energy Conservation in New Building Construction; Appendix Chapter 15, Reroofing; Appendix Chapter 16, Division I, Structural Forces, Snow Load Design; Appendix Chapter 30, Elevators, Dumbwaiters, Escalators and Moving Walks; Appendix Chapter 31, Division II, Membrane Structures; Appendix Chapter 31, Division III, Patio Covers; Appendix Chapter 33, 2
