Executive Director's Report <br />A. City Update on Budget - no real changes to report as there are no numbers yet <br />on sales tax revenue for the year. <br />B. 2007 Meeting Dates were reviewed and it was decided to change the July 4th <br />meeting date to July 11th <br />C. Open government training: Commission members are required to attend once <br />every two years; two sessions are being offered in late April and early May. <br /> <br />VIII. A reporter from the Yellow Scene interviewed Dave Ferguson, Don Ross <br />and Bridget Bacon for an article <br />2. Bill Cohen has been conducting more research on the Monarch Mine <br />explosion in preparation for his presentation <br />3. Donna Hauswald and Bridget Bacon worked on the Strategic Plan <br />4. Bridget Bacon had articles published in the Boulder Daily Camera and the <br />Louisville Times <br />5. Representatives from historical groups in Louisville, Lafayette, and Superior <br />attended a joint meeting that resulted in positive networking. The <br />Commission will decide whether to host a similar meeting in September <br />
