I sincerely <br />believe my skill set will contribute positively to the organizational goals of the city of Louisville. <br /> <br />I have been extremely fortunate to have worked my way through numerous levels of an organization from the entry <br />position of laborer to the top position of administrator. This experience has ingrained within me a deep sense of <br />teamwork, integrity and relationship building skills required for outstanding internal and external customer service. <br />recently worked for the city of Greeley where I quickly learned the community and built quality relationships. <br /> <br />My passion for public service is strong. Upon careful review of the position profile, my technical and managerial <br />competence will be highly complimentary to the expectations Louisville seeks. With fonnal education in engineering <br />and detailed management experience and training in all aspects of operating a city or county, I am confident in my <br />ability to contribute immediately and successfully. I have worked with the city of Pueblo's Urban Renewal Authority to <br />develop key projects such as a hotel-convention center and the Historic River Walk for the city of Pueblo. My <br />experience is extensive with managing the development review process for land use applications of all kinds. I <br />facilitated state-wide smart growth plans for the governor's office as well as the development of new comprehensive <br />growth plans adopted by all units of government in Pueblo County. I possess highly developed facilitation, problem <br />solving and negotiation skills which have led to numerous successes in organizational development, inter-governmental <br />agreements and creative cooperation as my resume attests. I understand recreation, parks, neighborhood development, <br />arts and culture, human resource functions, policing, courts, finance and information technology, land management, <br />public relations, city clerk functions, risk management, intergovernmental relations and senior services. My experience <br />includes successful development of a new ci~y-county library. I seek first to understand then to contribute. My <br />expertise is strong in seeking collaborative, teamwork oriented solutions that inspire top performance.
