<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1253 <br />SERIES 1997 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF TITLES 13 AND 15 OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING CALCULATION OF RESIDENTIAL <br />WATER TAP FEES AND REQUIRED PLUMBING FACILITIES FOR SMALL <br />RESTAURANTS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, <br />desires to amend certain provisions of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code concerning the incorporation of fire protection systems within <br />residential construction, the water demand levels used to determine <br />certain residential water tap fees, and the requirements for <br />plumbing facilities for small restaurants; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that such amendments <br />to the Louisville Municipal Code are in the best interest of the <br />public health, safety and welfare. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section <br />~ Subsection C of Section 13.12.030 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows (words deleted are stricken <br />through; words added are underlined) : <br /> <br />13.12.030 Tap Fee for Residential Units. <br /> <br />C. In the event a consumer desires to provide automatic <br />fire-control protection for the consumer's ~ premises and <br />for Stleft emergency service only, which requires a tap larger <br />than three-fourths inch (3/4"), the tap fee charged shall be <br />based only on the demand set forth in the Uniform Plumbing <br />Code and NPPA 13D and NFPA 13R for that item, ~ithout regard <br />to the minimum and maximum feeD Get forth in Table B of <br />Section 13.12.040.
