For <br />additional information regarding <br />new constrction incentives, please <br />contact the Planning Department <br />I n 2008, Louisville vot- <br />ers, concerned about <br />the loss of character of Old <br />Town Louisville, approved <br />what may be the nation's <br />first sales tax dedicated to <br />sources which are historic or add <br />to the character of Old Town. This <br />can be as simple as a homeowner <br />who wishes to restore a porch or <br />other architectural feature on a <br />historic house to a commercial <br />property owner wishing to reha- <br />bilitate a structure on Main Street. <br />Participation with the <br />Historic Preservation Fund <br />is entirely voluntary on your <br />part.
