Award Bid for Water Treatment Plant Chemicals <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO continued the filibuster, which he <br /> began on April 6, 2010 regarding his perception that Louisville City Officials cover up <br /> the illegal activities of the local cable television company. He claimed those actions <br /> directly benefited the cable television and disenfranchised Louisville voters. He outlined <br /> the history of information he presented to the Mayor and Council, which documented <br /> the cable television company's failure to comply with the Louisville Municipal Code. He <br /> stated to date he has not received a response to his request. <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Mayor Sisk reported the Superior Book Drop will be dedicated tomorrow afternoon and <br /> noted it was a wonderful addition to both communities. He referenced concern the <br /> Monarch Swim Team voiced at the July 5, 2011 Council meeting and noted he <br /> contacted Principal Jerry Anderson and Athletic Director Mark Sibley relative to the <br /> swim team schedule. Mr. Sibley stated there were absolutely no issues between <br /> Monarch High School and the Louisville Recreation Center in terms of scheduling. He <br /> requested the Monarch High School Administration and the Louisville Recreation Center <br /> continue to work together. <br /> Mayor Sisk noted Councilor Sackett and he would not be at the August 2 Council <br /> meeting. He asked Council members whether they would attend the meeting to ensure <br /> there would be a quorum. It was confirmed there would be a quorum. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> City Manager Fleming stated the Superior Book Drop dedication is on Thursday at 4:30 <br /> p.m. at the Superior Town Hall. He thanked Town of Superior Board of Trustee Sandy <br /> Pennington and Councilor Dalton for their work on the project. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> PRESENTATION 2010 COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> Finance Director Watson introduced David DeZutter from Eide Bailly, the City's external <br /> auditors, who would make a formal presentation of the 2010 Comprehensive Annual <br /> Financial Report (CAFR). <br />
