Sustainability AdvisoryBoard <br />August 2011 Meeting Minutes <br />Page 2of 4 <br />used as the local tour registration site, and for various local-interest displays and <br />presentations. <br />There was round-table discussion of various options for displays and activities: <br />A display at the wastewater treatment site, to show biosolids & compost <br />A demonstration of home composting <br />A display of conservation/sustainable features of city facilities <br />A read-out of the performance of the new P-V solar arrays at city sites <br />Set up a white board for comments as an Idea Board <br />Establish some youth activities: <br />Some kind of community-wide project <br />At-school, at-home projects <br />Create a sustainability audit handout <br />Present a problem –Find a solution <br />Bike-rack design competition <br />Get an entertainer to do info-entertainment kids’ songs <br />LSAB members were asked to volunteer to do various tasksfor the tour. <br />X.
