<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 6, 2007 <br />Page 16 of 18 <br /> <br />Teresa Peck, 1316 Franklin Avenue, Louisville, CO supported the repeal of the <br />existing trailer ordinance. She stated her appreciation for the City's uniqueness <br />and the citizens' rights to manage their own property without interference. <br /> <br />Gail Dunning, 725 W. Fir Court, Louisville, CO voiced her support of repealing <br />the existing ordinance and working with the public to enact a new trailer <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light clarified the intent of Ordinance No. 1511, Series 2007, is to <br />repeal Ordinance No. 1397, Series 2002, which amended Section 17.20.160 of <br />the Louisville Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Michael Menaker, 1827 W. Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, CO asked if the <br />repeal of the ordinance would leave residents without any protection from junk <br />vehicles and accumulation of trash in their neighborhoods. Mayor Sisk stated the <br />Council intends to address these issues in a new ordinance. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved the Council approve Ordinance No. 1511, Series <br />2007 on first reading, send it out for publication and set a public hearing for <br />February 20,2007, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Brown. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1512, SERIES 2007 -AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 5.08.75 OF THE: lOUISVlllE MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br />LIQUOR TASTINGS AT RElrAll LIQUOR STORES _1ST Reading - Set Public <br />Hearing 2/20/07 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1512, Series 2007. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved the Council approve Ordinance No. 1512, Series <br />2007 on first reading, send it out for publication and set a public hearing for <br />February 20, 2007, seconded by Council member Clabots. All in favor. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH COLORADO WIRELESS COMMUNITY TO <br />PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR NEW WEB SITE <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tern Brown voiced his concern that the additional funding request <br />would be taken from the Business Retention and Development operating budget. <br /> <br />Finance Director Leslie confirmed in the past the payments to the Colorado <br />Wireless Community have bE~en taken from the BRaD budget. She stated the <br />funds could come from other General Fund budgets and suggested the Capital <br />Improvement budget. There was Council consensus. <br />
