<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 15, 2007 <br />Page 11 of 13 <br /> <br />MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING ROOF DESIGN CRITERIA FOR SUCH <br />DISTRIC,. _1st reading - public hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1519, Series 2007. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to approve Ordinance No. 1519, Series 2007 on <br />first reading, and continue the! public hearing to June 5, 2007, seconded by <br />Council member Clabots. All in favor. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk recognized Daily Camera reporter Eric Schmidt for this fair and <br />impartial reporting. Mr. Schmidt is leaving his position at the Daily Camera. <br /> <br />Mr. Schmidt thanked the Mayor and Council for their recognition and his <br />appreciation for their responsiveness and openness during his tenure. <br /> <br />WATER~ COUNSEL LEGAL REPORT <br /> <br />City Water Attorney Alan Hill updated Council on the City's pending water <br />matters. The City was a party in litigation involving the City of Boulder, FRICO <br />and COOT and resolved its cllaims through an IGA in mid-January 2007. The City <br />is presently a party in eleven pending water cases. One involves the Eldora Ski <br />Area. The City has one pending water court application for decreed conditional <br />exchanges from the wastewater treatment plant to the golf course. One <br />application filed to incorporate FRICO and SBCC shares acquired by the City <br />since the last transfer of Marshall and SBCC was completed in 1995. The City <br />continues to obtain water from Colorado-Big Thompson ("C-BT") and Windy Gap <br />"firming project". Mr. Hill is working with the City Attorney and City Staff on the <br />conveyance and title issues for the water rights decreed to the Hecla Reservoir. <br /> <br />Council member Muckle inquired about the water used in Eldorado Water at their <br />bottling facility in Louisville. Mr. Hill explained the water is trucked in from <br />Eldorado to the Louisville bottling plant. <br /> <br />APROVAL OF INTERGOVIERNMENTAL AGREEMENT AMENDMENT WITH <br />URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL <br /> <br />Council member Muckle aske~d what benefit the City of Louisville would receive <br />from the agreement amendment. Public Works Director Phare explained the City <br />will receive a 1 O-year drainagle facility starting from the intersection of Dillon and <br />96th Street to the railroad track and further to the west side of CTC Filing No.2. <br />
