<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 15, 2007 <br />Page 8 of 13 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk commended the applicants' perseverance in identifying the visions of <br />the Comprehensive Plan for the property. <br /> <br />Council member Sackett concurred with Mayor Sisk's comments however voiced <br />his preference for an additional access to the property. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment and hearing none, closed the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light suggested the Annexation Agreement be addressed first and <br />then the annexation ordinance and zoning ordinance. He asked the applicant for <br />clarification on the Annexation Agreement, Paragraph 4 on Page 2 that they <br />agree the General Development Plan attached to the contract will contain the <br />modifications discussed by Council this evening. Mr. Brew and Mr. Hamm were <br />in agreement. <br /> <br />TAKODA ANNEXATION AGREEMENT <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Marsella moved to approve the Takoda Annexation <br />Agreement, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Brown. The <br />motion carried by a vote of 7..0. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tern Brown explained higher density could be a consideration if the <br />residential portion included housing elements, which the City does not currently <br />have, such as patio homes or attainable housing. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF BID A,^'ARD FOR 2007 STREET RECONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Phare reported on May 8, 2007 bids were received and <br />opened for the 2007 Street Reconstruction and Concrete Replacement Project. <br />The low bidder was Premier Paving Inc. at $921,182.35. This year's project <br />includes: Dillon Road Resurface; Dillon Road Chip Seal; South 88th Street and <br />
