Roll call votl3 was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. <br />Absent: Council member Marsella. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 29, SI:RIES 2007 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />PURCHASE CONTRACT 'TO BUY AND SELL REAL ESTATE FOR OPEN <br />SPACE AND OTHER PURPOSES, INCLUDING SUBDIVISION AND SALE OF <br />A PORTION OF SUCti PROPERTY TO DEFRAY THE COSTS OF <br />ACQUISITION, AND APPBOVING A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />SALE TO BOULDER COUNTY OF CONSERVATION EASEMENTS IN <br />PORTIIONS OF SUCH PROPERTY <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Land Management Director Robson pointed out the essential components of the <br />contract: The conservation easement for the historic barn, the property will be <br />sold as is; the easement will incorporate a 1.5 acre parcel, which will preserve <br />the historic barn. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reported on an email he received from the attorney <br />representing the sellers stating they have agreed with the terms of the contract. <br />The conservation easement includes flexibility for the City to maintain Dyer Road <br />and a City of Louisville water line. There is a suggested revision with respect to <br />US 36 right-of-way. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment. There were no comments. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tern Brown moved to approve Resolution No. 29, Series <br />2007, seconded by Council member Muckle. Roll call vote was taken. The <br />motion carried by a vote of 6-0. Absent: Council member Marsella. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - BUSINESS INCENTIVE PROPOSAL <br /> <br />Becky Hogan, EDge Consulting, 52 Steele Street, Denver, CO presented a <br />business incentive proposal (Project Charlie). She explained the City Manager's <br />office was approached by a business expressing an interest in locating to the <br />downtown area of Louisville. This is a start up company requesting assistance <br />
