<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June 19, 2007 <br />Page 13 of 13 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested public Gomment and hearing none, closed the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved to approve Ordinance No. 1522, Series <br />2007 as an Emergency ordinance, seconded by Council member Clabots. Roll <br />call vote was taken. The motiion carried by a vote of 6-0. Absent: Council <br />member Marsella. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reviewed his memorandum regarding the November Regular <br />Election. He reported on the amendment to the Election Statute, which pertains <br />to the issue of whether elections could be held on transferring the authority of an <br />Urban Renewal in odd years. Senate Bill 07-83 clarifies the appropriate time for <br />a transfer election would be in odd number years. He reported the November <br />election calendar was prepamd by his office in conjunction with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown reportlsd at last evenings Town of Superior Work Session <br />the Board favorably discussed the revenue sharing proposal and will vote on the <br />issue next Monday. <br /> <br />Council member Clabots announced Wednesday, June 27, is Bike to Work Day. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />
