Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 15, 2011 <br />Page 8of 9 <br />McCartney stated the language has been modified to make the application specific to <br />the applicant. <br />The HPC stated they would also likethe heirs of the applicant to be included as <br />responsible parties. <br />The HPC then had a discussion about requiring conceptual plans. <br />Stewart stated the definition of demolition should include “windows and doors”. <br />Discussion–On-call Consultant Update <br />McCartney presented the packet material. <br />The HPC stated their interest in this idea and directed staff to bring back a sample RFP <br />for the on-call services. <br />Discussion–Grant Program Update <br />Koertje recommended staff email suggested dates for a special meeting to discuss the <br />Grant Program. <br />Fasick recommended staff email the funding memo written by staff to MalcolmFleming, <br />City Manager. <br />Discussion–2012 Budget Review <br />McCartney presented the packet material. <br />The HPC stated their interest in the Museum Coordinator having more hours. This <br />should be included in the budget. <br />McCartney stated he would forward their interest to the Planning Director to include in <br />the budget request. <br />Discussion–Bylaws <br />The HPC requested to continue this item to next month. <br />Discussion–Cemetery <br />The HPC asked staff to research if the City can advertise a public notice and consider it <br />appropriate notification. <br />McCartney stated he would research and bring back to next meeting. <br />Discussion–Rod and Gun Club <br />McCartney stated there has been no new information to report regarding the developer <br />and the future use of the Rod and Gun Club. <br />Committee Reports –none <br /> <br />
