Section 5. Application. This ordinance shall apply to every street, alley, sidewalk area, d~iveway, park, and to every other public way or public parking area, either within or outside the corporate limits of this municipality, the use of which this municipality has jurisdiction and authority to regulate. The provisions of sections 5-1, 5-2, 15-12 and 2J-J of the adopted Model Traffic Code respectively concerning reckless driving, careless driving, unauthorized signs, signals or markings, and accident investigation shall apply not only to public places and ways but also throughout this municipality. Section 6. Validity. If any part or parts of this ordinance are for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of Louisville hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part or parts thereof, irrespective of the fact that anyone part or parts might be declared invalid. Section 7. The following sections are to be included in Article XXVI of the Model Traffic Code: Sections 26-2 and 26-J. Decreased and increased speed limits. In accordance with the provisions of sections 4-2 and 4-J of the Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities and when official signs are erected giving notice thereof, the speed limit shall be as specified for the following intersections or approaches thereto and upon the following streets or portions thereof: Name of street or Intersection Portion affected ~rminal limits) Speed Limit County Road Elm Street to City Limits 25 M.P.H.
