ORDINANCE NO. 547 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORWO, A PART OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 69 WEST, OF THE SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, COUNTY OF BOULDER, STATE OF COLORADO. FINDS: WHEREAS, the City Countil of the City of Louisville, Colorado That the property described herein is owned solely by the Boulder Valley School Board, RE-2; That more Dr not less than one-sixth of the perimeter of the area proposed to be annexed is contiguous with the City limits of the City of Louisville; That a community of interest exists between the territory proposed to be annexed and the City of Louisville; That the territory proposed to be annexed is urban or will be urbanized in the near future and that the territory is capable of being integrated into the City of Louisville; That an annexation election of qualified electors is not required for annexation; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: SECTION 1. That the following described property situated in the County of Boulder, State of Colorado, be annexed to the City of Louisville, to-wit: A tract of land in Section 8, Township 1 South, Range 69 West, of the 6th Principle Meridian more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the South quarter corner of said Section 8, thence N 000 06' 18" W a distance of 741.85 fee t to the true point of beginning, thence N eoo 06' 18" W a distance of 9.46 feet, thence S 890 57' 54" W a distance of 786.00 feete, thence S 000 06' 18" E a distance of 9.46 feet, thence N 89 57' 54" E a distance of 786.00 feet to the true point of beginning containing 0.17 acres more or less. SECTION 2. That said territory is hereby annexed to the City of Louisville and included within the corporate boundaries thereot as an integral part of said City. -1-
