RESOLUTION NO. 81 <br /> SERIES 2011 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE AND FELSBURG HOLT & ULLEVIG, INC. (FHU) FOR THE US 36 AND <br /> MCCASLIN BOULEVARD INTERCHANGE TRANSPORTATION MODELING, <br /> TRAFFIC ANALYSIS,AND ALTERNATIVE SCOPING EXERCISE <br /> WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Professional Services to <br /> complete the US 36 and McCaslin Boulevard Interchange Transportation Modeling, Traffic <br /> Analysis, and Alternative Scoping Exercise (the Plan); and <br /> WHEREAS, a selection committee interviewed two prospective teams to complete the <br /> Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the selection committee rated Felsburg Holt & Ullevig, Inc. (FHU) as the <br /> number one choice to complete the Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, a contract between the City and FHU has been proposed to complete the <br /> Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed contract is in the best interests of the <br /> City and its citizens, and by this resolution desires to approve the contract, authorize its execution, <br /> and authorize completion of the project as described in said contract; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE,COLORADO: <br /> 1. The City Council hereby approves that certain Independent Contractor Agreement <br /> By and Between the City of Louisville and Felsburg Holt & Ullevig, Inc. for Professional <br /> Services, for completion of the US 36 and McCaslin Boulevard Interchange Transportation <br /> Modeling, Traffic Analysis, and Alternative Scoping Exercise (the Contract), in essentially the <br /> same form as the copy of such Contract accompanying this Resolution. <br /> 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Contract on behalf of the City <br /> Council of the City of Louisville, except that the Mayor is hereby further authorized to negotiate <br /> and approve such revisions to the Contract as the Mayor determines are necessary or desirable <br /> for the protection of the City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the Contract are not <br /> altered. <br /> Resolution No.81,Series 2011 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
