Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 13, 2011 <br />Page 3 of 13 <br />McMillan stated they are the Louisville Glass, the subject property, City of Louisville <br />Shops and Open Space. <br />Russ briefly discussed other HWY 42 development. <br />Public Comment: <br />Michael Menaker, 1827 W. Chokecherry Dr. briefly reviewed the discussion of the <br />property and asked if there were other problems. <br />Russ stated there were no problems with adjoining properties. The desire is to <br />maintain the rural character of the area. <br />Summary Comments and Request from Staff: <br />None heard. <br />Closed Public Hearing – Planning Commission Discussion: <br />Loo stated her support of the request and she wants to see if the neighboring <br />properties will do a similar plan. <br />Sheets states she likes the rural character and therefore supports the request. <br />st <br />Lipton stated his support of the request and questioned if the development of the 1 <br />property could extend the streetscape. <br />Pritchard stated his support and is anxious to know when the development of other <br />properties in the area will come forward. <br />O’Connell stated her support. <br />Brauneis stated his support and a soft surface path is not the same as a path on the <br />road. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />NameVote <br />Jeff Lipton Yes <br />Chris Pritchard Yes <br />Susan S.
