Authorization for Mayor to Sign the Letter of Understanding Between <br />the City of Louisville and Boulder Valley School District <br />Authorization To Bid Capital Improvement Projects <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Jon Lee, of Community Development Group, stated that he would like to discuss the <br />street lighting plan at CTC with the Council and asked that this matter be reviewed at the <br />end of the regular meeting. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that the CTC discussion would be added to the agenda under Item L. 2. <br /> <br />RECOGNITION OF SERVICE - PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Davidson honored Planning Commission members Sarah Klahn, Betty Solek and Bill <br />Boulet, whose terms ended in January 2000. He noted that each volunteered significant <br />time and effort to Planning Commission duties. <br /> <br />Sarah Ann Klahn <br />Betty Solek <br />Bill Boulet <br /> <br />January 1998 - January 2000 <br />January 1995 - January 2000 <br />January 1992 - January 2000 <br /> <br />Mayer commended those honored members of the Planning Commission. He stated that <br />the Council would have a work session on the Development Review Process, and asked if <br />those planning commission members could give the council some insight in terms of the <br />comments made by the consultants, adding Louisville's Development Review Process, <br />and how the process worked or didn't work. <br /> <br />Sisk also commended the three honored Planning Commission members as outstanding <br />individuals who contributed enormously to the community. He stated he was glad to <br />have worked with them, and that they facilitated the Council and brought their legacy to <br />the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE BOARD & COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Planning Commission <br /> <br />Davidson made the Mayor's appointment of a six-year term expiring January 2006, to <br />William McDermott. <br /> <br />Mayer stated that the council spent many hours interviewing twenty-two candidates to the <br />Planning Commission. The four councilmen attending all the interviews made the <br />following recommendations for the two-year terms: Deborah Kalish and Christopher <br />Leh. Mayer nominated Kalish and Leh to the two-year terms. Brown seconded the <br />motion. There were no other nominations. The vote was four in favor, with Howard and <br />Sisk abstaining. <br /> <br /> <br />
