Authorization for Mayor to Sign the Letter of Understanding Between the City of Louisville and Boulder Valley School District Authorization To Bid Capital Improvement Projects PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Jon Lee, of Community Development Group, stated that he would like to discuss the street lighting plan at CTC with the Council and asked that this matter be reviewed at the end of the regular meeting. Davidson stated that the CTC discussion would be added to the agenda under Item L. 2. RECOGNITION OF SERVICE - PLANNING COMMISSION Davidson honored Planning Commission members Sarah Klahn, Betty Solek and Bill Boulet, whose terms ended in January 2000. He noted that each volunteered significant time and effort to Planning Commission duties. He stated that the Council would have a work session on the Development Review Process, and asked if those planning commission members could give the council some insight in terms of the comments made by the consultants, adding Louisville's Development Review Process, and how the process worked or didn't work. Sisk also commended the three honored Planning Commission members as outstanding individuals who contributed enormously to the community. He stated he was glad to have worked with them, and that they facilitated the Council and brought their legacy to the City of Louisville. CITY OF LOUISVILLE BOARD & COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS Planning Commission Davidson made the Mayor's appointment of a six-year term expiring January 2006, to William McDermott. Mayer stated that the council spent many hours interviewing twenty-two candidates to the Planning Commission. The four councilmen attending all the interviews made the following recommendations for the two-year terms: Deborah Kalish and Christopher Leh. Mayer nominated Kalish and Leh to the two-year terms. Brown seconded the motion. There were no other nominations. The vote was four in favor, with Howard and Sisk abstaining.
