City Council
Special Meeting Minutes
October 11, 2011
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Michael Menaker, 1827 W. Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, CO voiced his
concern over keeping the proposed short-term CIP Manager position filled. He
suggested the CIP Manager be a contract employee. He concurred the
clubhouse improvements should not be delayed.
Rob Lathrop, 601 Johnson Avenue, Louisville, CO also supported the
improvements to the golf course clubhouse.
Carlos Hernandez, 641 W. Dahlia Street, Louisville, CO supported an additional
police officer and voiced his appreciation for the School Resource Officers. He
felt a highly visible CIP Manager may leave for a better position.
Sandy Stewart, 649 Augusta Drive, Louisville, CO supported improvements to
the golf course clubhouse, but did not support the underpass at McCaslin and
Washington. He felt a traffic signal at the intersection would be appropriate.
Emily Jasiack, 1016 Main Street, Louisville, CO addressed the added police
• officer and felt there is already too large of a police presence in Louisville.
Debra Fahey, 1118 W. Enclave, Louisville, CO voiced her appreciation for the
police presence in Louisville and supported a police liaison to the Senior Center.
Mayor Sisk felt there was Council support for the revisions to the 2012 proposed
budget, a CIP Project Manager and an additional Police Officer.
