City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> November 1, 2011 <br /> • Page 2 of 5 <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> Debby Fahey, 1118 W. Enclave Circle, Louisville, CO, President of Louisville Senior <br /> Foundation, stated that the Boulder Creek Builders at Steel Ranch Grand Opening is <br /> November 5th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For every person who attends, they will donate <br /> $5.00 to the Senior Foundation. She encouraged everyone to attend and support the <br /> Louisville Senior Foundation. <br /> Mayor Sisk thanked the Louisville Senior Foundation for all they do for the senior <br /> community. <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Councilor Muckle congratulated the Downtown Business Association for receiving the <br /> 2011 Governor's Award for Downtown Excellence in the category of "Colorful Colorado <br /> Award" for the Downtown Louisville Main Street Patios. Mayor Sisk agreed it was a well <br /> deserved award. <br /> Mayor Sisk recognized the candidates for office and applauded their willingness to <br /> 411 serve the City. He noted the new Mayor and Council will inherit a wonderful staff and <br /> the transition will be seamless. He wished each candidate the best of luck. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> City Manager Fleming reported on the success of the downtown patios and thanked the <br /> Downtown Business Association and all the businesses in Louisville for the City's <br /> economic vitality. He reported the branch drop-off site will be open through November <br /> 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. He expressed his thanks to the Council and stated he <br /> looks forward to working with the new Mayor and Council. <br /> Mayor Sisk reported on a favorable comment he received from the owner of Vic's <br /> Coffee Shop relative to the downtown patios. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> RECOGNITION OF OUTGOING COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Mayor Sisk recognized Councilor Clabots for his eight years on City Council and Mayor <br /> Pro Tern Marsella for her nine years on City Council. Councilors Clabots and Marsella <br /> expressed their pleasure in serving the City. <br /> • Mayor Pro Tern Marsella recognized Mayor Sisk for his twenty years of service; twelve <br /> years on Council and eight years as mayor. Mayor Sisk thanked Council and City staff. <br />
