<br />SECTION 19. The following sections are hereby added to Chapters <br /> <br />13.08 and 13.24, Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />13.08.160 Main extension policy <br /> <br />B. Any individual, firm or partnership desiring an extension <br />of the city water system shall pay the cost of any over sizing which the <br />city requires to serve any individual property as a result of any master <br />plan adopted by the city for water service within or outside of the <br />existing city limits. <br /> <br />13.08.170 Oversizing <br /> <br />If the size line required to serve a subdivision or individual <br />is smaller than the size line the city wishes installed for sound future <br />planning, the subdivision or individual shall bear the cost for the <br />required oversizing and repayment by other line users will follow as <br />set out by resolution. <br /> <br />13.24.050 Line extension <br /> <br />B. Any individual, firm or partnership desiring an extension <br />of the city sewer system shall pay the cost of any oversizing which the <br />city requires to serve any individual property as a result of any master <br />plan adopted by the city for sewer service within or outside of the <br />existing city limits. <br /> <br />13.24.060 Oversizing <br /> <br />If the size line required to serve a subdivision or individual <br />is smaller than the size line the city wishes installed for sound future <br />planning, the subdivision or individual shall bear the cost for the <br />required oversizing and repayment by other line users will follow as <br />set out by resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION 20. Subsections 16.20.20 (B), (E), and (H) (5) of <br /> <br />Chapter 16.20 of the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 21. The following subsections are hereby added to <br /> <br />Section 16.20.20, Chapter 16.20, Title 16 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> <br />Code: <br /> <br />16.20.20 Surface improvements <br /> <br />B. Curbs, guttE~rs and sidewalks. In subdivisions in whiCh <br />the lots are of an acre or more in size, sidewalks may not be required. <br />Sidewalks on arterial sheets shall be set back a minimum of four feet <br />from the curb; <br /> <br />E. Street name signs and all traffic control signs; <br /> <br />H. 5. The subdivider shall guarantee the replacement of any <br />tree which dies for a minimum of six months fOllOwing installation. <br /> <br />SECTION 22. The CUy Council finds this Ordinance is necessary <br /> <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health and public safety <br /> <br />and determines that it shall take effect immediately upon its final <br /> <br />pas sage and publication. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
