ORDINANCE NO. 602 AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CREATION OF A MAJOR THOR- OUGHFARE FEE FOR THE FINANCING OF CONSTRUCTION AND/OR IMPROVEMENTS OF MAJOR THOROUGHFARE. WHEREAS, the costs and expenses of constructing and/or improving major thoroughfare are ever increasing; and, WHEREAS, the City COlmcil feels that a more reasonable and equitable system is needed for the financing of these streets. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO. SECTION 1. The following sections are hereby added to Title 3, Chapter 13, 18, Louisville Municipal Code: Section 1. Definitions (a) Building official--The officer charged with the administration and enforcE~ment of the Uniform Building Code, as adopted by the City of Louisville, or his regularly authorized deputy. (b) Contractor--Any person, firm, partnership, joint venture, or corporation, required to obtain a building permit under City of Louisville Ordinance No. 535 adopting by reference the Uniform Building Code, or any other ordinance of the City of Louisville adopting subsequent editions of the Uniform Building Code. (c) Dwelling Unit--Any structure, townhouse, or apartment intended for residential use or occupancy for which a building permit is required by the ordinances of the City of Louisville. (d) Treasurer--The duly elected Treasurer of the City of Louisville. (e) Major Thoroughfare--Any Arterial, Collector Freeway street. (f) Major thoroughfare fee's-The fee determined by virture of this ordinance and any subsequent amendment thereto. SECTION 2. Payment of Major Thoroughfare Fees.
